I've got quite a few shots of SAMs that aren't mounted on a vehicle. Should we consider them artillery and use the dedicated forum?

Massimo

No need to split up the continuity of a site visit based just on content, suggest you keep this going here. No need to be rigid about display items, and I'd submit that most visitors enjoy all your pictures, regardless of subject matter.

You'd be welcome to open a thread in the arty forum with links to the relevant pages here, in the (unlikely) event that there are visitors to that forum that would otherwise miss them here.

Looking at it again, I am not sure anymore the one above is SA-1... Maybe it's just a variant of SA-2 I failed to recognize?

Any help is appreciated

Dear Colleague,
in museum Kbely only stayed aircraft. Ground equipment was relocated to a new military technical museum in Lesany.

The armoured rail wagon was in Kbely in 1998, even if Lesany was already opened.
The Mercedes 170V that in 1998 was in Lesany instead, is now in Kbely.
