Been off work all week for vacation...and been sick all week. Start back to work tomorrow at 4am so probably won't be able to join you.

Tried playing some of the game campaigns yesterday and it kept crashing about 4 minutes in. Not sure if it's the game, or my system although I don't remember having any problems with it before upgrading. With the exception of the above mentioned it didn't crash during multiplayer online.

Maybe I'll check the ROF forums?

Hmmmm, perhaps. I don't play the campaigns so I'm not aware of any issues. One never knows though!

been on the 'Flying Circus' ROF server the past few days and had a lot of fun,for the most part it was a furball a nice target rich enviorment where it didn't really matter how many times you got yourself killed.I got quite a bit better at avoiding and shaking people off my 6 and getting after guys who were after my team-mates.I'll be ready for escourt duty tomorrow night Stoopy,you bring the bombs and i'll bring the bullets Mr. Green

Outstanding! I haven't bugged ya because, well, sometimes a Sau just needs time to go off on their own and work on the flying and shooting bits. Plus there were a few football games to watch. Smile

Tomorrow at 8:00 is formation flying and aerobatics practice, as is usual for the "Wednesday Night Whackdown". I may be on for only a little bit as I have a heavy week this week, but come Friday night I'll be ready to rock!

Saturday evening there is bomber formation and bombing practice, which actually should be able to use some escort flights if the AI enemy air cover works out as planned. Here's a link to what went down last Saturday and what we may be doing next - although I'm about reaching the tolerable limit of my involvement just trying to help it get off the ground, and any other flying I do I'd really like it to be with my Wild Sau brethren:

After that we also have Sunday and Monday is a holiday here, apart from a visit to the Dr's and Dentist on that day I hope to be in the air lots, wooohoo!!!

That was fun flying last night Stoopy and quit exciting at times too,like when we were flying single file and suddenly we were flying through the pylons like a slolom ski course only to be followed by the smoke stacks!I almost made it through.Then after everybody else landed I and I set up a nice long approach only to find that the Fokker refused to land!! and I was looking like a bowling ball that was about to take out half the guys before I pulled up and went around 3 times before I finally turned off the motor and landed in the back field,Good guys and good fun,I should be good for some mayham on Friday.

I agree 100%. It's a good place to kind of learn what you need to learn to set up, for instance you learned about the need to assign a "blip" switch so you can interrupt power on that Dr.1 in order to get it to set down. They're pretty good folks and it makes for a fun evening without worrying about kill scores etc... I dig the formation flying and aerobatics (however mild they are working on at the moment) so it makes for a fairly stress-free hour in which you end up learning a fair amount. It made my day to have a fellow (and familiar) Sau in the air with me!

When all is said and done though we do need the mayhem. Friday night we can get together, and go patrol the front and see what action we can find. There's blood on the moon and my trigger finger is itchy. Twisted Evil

After last night I think you're right, they were skid marks - got shot up pretty bad but it was still fun!

Dan, the ol'lady and myself decided to spend some time together this evening so I will be on tomorrow night and skip Saturday!
