I took this opportunity to visit the Polish Wargraves and found a number of other wargraves.
This one caught my attention.
The legend reads
"Pilot Officer A T Noble Air Bomber Royal Canadian Air Force 26th May 1944 Age 28"
Other crew include
Sergeant G.B. Sanderson Royal Canadian Air Force (Pilot)
Sergeant D. Wright Air Gunner Royal Canadian Air Force
I can't find any info on these men. I assume that they're a bomber crew, who died together.
Anyone know anything more, squadron, circumstances of their deaths etc?
Newark had a number of airfields nearby, including the OCU at Winthorpe.
