I wish there'd been a minute or two given over to rest of his career. He was a "mustang", an enlisted man who was later commissioned as a officer and retired in 1968 as a lieutenant colonel. I wonder how he spent that 23 years? He had time there to fly in two other wars, like Robin Olds, if he was still on flight status.
