I was looking through an old article on air-cooled diesel engines, when I ran across a mention and a couple pictures of a WW2 era German tank engine developed by Simmering Graz Pauker. It's an air-cooled 16 cylinder diesel in an "x" configuration. I had no idea that Germany had attempted an engine like this. It's radically different than the Maybachs they used in most of their tanks. Does anyone have any info on this engine?
