It's funny, the discussion forum at "World of Tanks" occasionally provides some interesting items such as this piece. Usually these are found in the "Chieftains Hatch" section. However, most of the forum at WoT is full of nonsense and trolling. The game itself is a weird mixture of fact and fantasy, and I sincerely hope people are not learning their "tank facts" from it.

Looking at some comments popping up on the FB page for The Armour Journal, they are getting their "tank facts" from it!
Interesting article, someone tell the author it'a a Bf109 and they (& the He 111) only stayed in Spanish service, due to Franco being an international pariah & thus unable to buy better aircraft.
Czech use of the Avia S-199 "Mule" was short-lived, the characteristics of the airframe combined with the engine & prop from a Heinkel 111 were abysmal.

These French comments were published by Spielberger in his book on the Panther back in the 1990'ies.
