#1: What kind of tank? Author: Landsverk, Posted: Fri Aug 15, 2014 10:47 am ---- In Sweden this ad was found and there has been some arguing about where the wheels comes from. The Wheels was bought at a scrap yard near a tank regiment in 1975.
At this tank regiment trials of all kind were carried out in the past, but the question is - what vehicle? When we can tell what vehicle, we might be able to find out how these Wheels ended up in Sweden.
So far no one in Sweden has been able to tell what it is. They look similar but not the same as M13/40.
Anyone who can help?

Sweden had, and still has one Carden Loyd Mk V* and one Mk VI. Sweden did not have "a number" converted to one man tanks - only 2 and only for tests.
So the question remains - from what vehicle?

Author: JimWeb, Location: The back of beyondPosted: Mon Aug 18, 2014 6:46 pm ---- According to the Vickers records they received four - the additional two were Vickers produced Mk VI versions probably with the vickers produced roadwheels as on the trailer rather than the originaL Carden-lloyd ones.
