Pilot is executing (very well IMHO) a standard accelerated turn onto the nearest taxiway, likely as instructed by ATC... "Please turn next taxiway"... well, OK.
Contributing factors are minimum separation of approaching flights requiring minimum rollout & quickly cleared runways, and the pax on board being in a whiny hurry to get to their connecting flight... probably half of 'em already had their seatbelts unbuckled despite the landing briefing. Then, oh sure, everyone has to be a critic over what is little more than some enthusiastic taxiing.
Plus there was probably a squirrel on the side of the runway that needed "smoothing". We shouldn't judge until we hear all sides of the story.
