It is allready sterted to rot away now it is out of the water
So it needs preservation

According to pictures on FB it is already halfways dismanteled ... and yes, I think this is a "must do" to prevent the water from ruining everythng saved for 70 years! The only question is the one wheater they remount it after a cleaning and consevating proces or if the rebuild everything to a "like new" state ...

One thing they definetly did is documenting everything like archaeologists do.

true it needs preservation, however it should not be restored to a "brand" new vehicle

just like the Panther ausf A located at Sinsheim Mr. Green
