I hate to see the loss of our brethern but can't help wondering if this could have been avoided through proper following of ground procedures... but then again some "other" aircrews will resort to anything so as to get their hands on free tasty bacon...

Obviously a fundamental violation of procedure occurred here......it's widely known and accepted that wild boars ALWAYS have the right of way either on taxiways or the active.
