#1: Fred Ropkey's Author: armyjunk2, Posted: Mon Jul 17, 2017 5:50 pm ---- Hello Folks,
Does anyone have any idea where Fred's M1917 6T Tank went? It's sort of disappeared? Thanks

#4: Re: Fred Ropkey's Author: JeffStringer, Posted: Thu Jul 20, 2017 12:42 pm ---- That's too bad. It was on that long list of things to do after it was completed. I remember taking pics of it on the floor back in the repair room when Fred took us on tour of his place.

#6: Re: Fred Ropkey's Author: Scott_Taylor, Location: London, OntarioPosted: Thu Aug 31, 2017 2:15 am ---- Hi:
We were there about a month ago, and Lani Ropkey mentioned that the M1917 had been "sold to a private individual in Kansas" (don't know whether that was Kansas City or somewhere in the state of Kansas). Furthermore, I believe the museum is now closed (I think that the weekend of July 24-25 was the last time that it was open) and that the collection was being sold/returned (for items on loan).
Very sad, but I understand why it has to be.
Cheers,
Scott
