According to facebook posts from the Military Experience Museum Inc, the government owned vehicles that resided at the site of the former Danbury Military Museum in Connecticut have been scraped. The Center for Military History and TACOM decided that they would neither sell these vehicles, nor loan them out to a new museum, opting rather to destroy them. I don't have a complete list of the destroyed vehicles, but a rare MBT-70 prototype was put to the torch, along with some former APG vehicles. Walter, Thanks for the update. Page 49 in The USA Historical AFV Register in Com-Central site shows what vehicles were at the former Museum. Sad day when TACOM scraps historical vehicles, really no excuse! Rick Eshleman.
