Well, we're back online everyone!!!

Now, to explain...

Without warning or any kind of advanced knowledge, the server that hosts our site (Which by the way is/was rated #1 on the web), crashed and took our site offline. The sad part is, the "techs" kept telling me that "they're working on it." and passing me on "up the ladder" to different "techs". I called them every day as well as sent them emails complaining about the amount of time we've been offline. I'm sure they really got tired of my complaining.

Now, since I run an autobackup script to backup our data on a daily basis, I apparently made a mistake and kept the backups on on what I thought was a different server and location. To my surprise, the location was on the same server that crashed which by the way made it impossible to move CC to another host without loosing a lot of data (posts). It was my decision to wait until our current host restored our site and files. It finally went online today after 19 days, something that in my opinion is unacceptable.

With that being said, I have secured a new web host that is not owned by the current host and will be updating and moving CC at some point in the near future. Too bad too as this host was really good prior to being absorbed into a huge conglomerate.

Thanks to everyone who patiently waited for us to come back online and welcome back!!!

After a couple tries with no luck I did a search for com-central and the only thing that came up was Comedy Central.

Thought you sold the name, took your millions and was on a beach in the Bahamas. Smile
