#1: Mike Stone's Forum Closes Author: RCAF_Wingnut, Location: Omaha, Ne.Posted: Fri Oct 21, 2005 1:48 pm ---- Sad news guys. Yesterday Mike Stone announced that his forum would be closing. It has been the meeting place of a fair number of people that love the flight sims. He has given advise in building and painting quite a few planes, many of them his own creations. He is closing it down so he can be with his family and because of health reasons. He will still post on the Transload forum and still continue to create aircraft for us to fly. It will also give him a little more time to just fly as well. He will still keep his regular web site with his downloads up for us to get his fabulous planes. That website can be found at pmstone.com.

Mike is a member of that group and Ken Paulik the TL CEO offered membership to all of the group from Mikes forum. There have also been a couple other forums that focus on repainting and plane construction that have opened their forums up to those that do that sort of thing. The TL forum doesn't require membership in TL to join, just interest in flying, even though a lot of the focus is aimed at the VA and its divisions. I will also toss that offer up to the folks as well.

And not many people bring us original works like this, either - his "Coyote Air - Flapjack"........with one of the most stupendous landing gear mechanisms I've ever seen - you're gauranteed to keep hitting the "G" key to see it cycle over and over again. With twin cannon, supercharged big-block V8 power and a great sound file, this baby's got it all - what a great mind this guy has.
JG300 sends him a big S! and we wish him all the best!
