Whoa! Mega images of the San Francisco (the nuke that ran aground recently) in dry dock. My understanding is they were moving at a pretty good clip, so this is testimony to the strength of the boat. Had the blow not been somewhat glancing, it would have merely been a question of sending the DSRV or laying a wreath, depending on the depth of the water...
