Well, it's that time again! Yup, this is what happens when ya volunteer around here - we pester ya one more time!

The second half of fr8ycat's 2-part Hughes OH-6A Cayuse helicopter release is ready for BETA and release - 4 exciting new models in the lowskid version, should be VERY smooth this time and you'll notice some slight improvements and enhancements, hopefully!

You lucky BETA testers for the Highskids version, Kitform, jo_wingnut, Ascout, Bushy, have PM's awaitin' ya with details, if you have the time and interest (and we hope ya do). Screenshots of the models and upgraded panel are included this time to alleviate aggrevation and let ya see what ya should see.

If you'd be so kind as to report results here so fr8ycat can see 'em too that'd be really really appreciated.

And, oh, okay.....since it's good policy to also always incude a "virgin" installer....anyone else, one or two helo-capable others here, care to try it on for size? PM ol' Stoop.....

S! and thanks much, as always, in advance!!! Should wrap up a very interesting and unique release that fr8ycat's worked his fingers to the bone on!!

Here's some teeny-weeeeeny lil' teaser shots for squinters.......BIG pictures are in yur PM's......it's a LoachFest!!!

Installs just like the high skid version without a problem and the panel shows up identical to the reference pic in the pm with the new vsi gauge and the clock moved to the left.

Flies just like the high skid version.

Excellent job guys, a keeper for sure.

Now did they ever do a float version. Smile

Why of course....was hoping you'd ask, Fled! Check PM.......

Float version.......mmmmmm...........!!!

Say....those paint schemes aren't half bad!!...although we'll stay away from the GreenPeace OH-6 that's on Airliners.net!!

Because personally, I LIKE barbequed penguin.....with a little Orange sauce on the side.....

An appetizer of penguin paté for me... and for the entreé, I'll be having a thick, juicy seal pup steak!

I'll be a bit tardy testing the low-skid...wifey just back from 2.5 weeks in Brasil and loading FS2004 could be very dangerous. Besides, I have some other diversions to attend to....

HHmmm.

Greanpeace's donations must be down. Instead of the OH6 all they could afford was that inferior 500D. Laughing

Fr8ycat, the helo is great. It installed correctly, and all textures were there. Nice panel. All gauges in correct locations and present. I took it for a test flight at night, and the landing lights worked too. I put it through its paces like the other one, and it flew like a dream. I think you have another keeper. Great job guys.

Thanks for checking it out Kit & Wingnut. After a couple of small text fixes it should be ready to go.

And after some serious arm twisting, Kit talked me into it Laughing

A floats version will be available soon. Not necessarily this paint. But all the paints on all the versions are interchangeable including any done with the paint kit.

Nice job on this one too fellas! This model is one of my favorites in the hangar!!

Only real thing Fled and I noticed was the size of the nav lights glow at night. Seems a bit big, but hey, maybe they're that way anyhow, I don't know...lol

Great job and I can't wait to add the float version!

Nice job fella's !

As bushy allready stated the nav lights and flashing lights are a wee bit on the large side imho.
another thing I noticed is when having all the lights switched on it seems that alltough you see the bundle from the searchlight projected on the RWY you don't se the actual seachlight lit up.
