Well it's been an interesting odessy (Not in getting here registering and starting was easy) and all these new fangled 'Emoticons' and icons - Wow.. It's a shame we never hit the 6 million mark at the old board (I think we were approaching 5.9 million)

Thanks George for putting up with us this long.

And major kudos and a lot of genuflection to the site owners here at Com-Central, who are generously making this slot available to us at no cost! If you get a chance, and are willing to acknowledge all "wingy thing" stuff is not evil, you might find some new interests. "CC" is one of the most civil, helpful, and all around comfy flight simulation websites to be found. It's not a kiddie site, neither...most of the "virtual" pilots around here are well into their adult years (if not mindset) and we have several aircraft, scenery, and repaint designers on board.

If you get to feeling like kicking up your heels and telling (or reading) some fun rude jokes, "Miss Kitty's Bomb Bay Bar and Grill" has unwatered liquor and purty hostesses that you can usually be pretty sure of their gender! (Special clearance is required, you just apply to join that "group", gotta' keep the youngun's out).

Doug, Com-Central, thank you all very much. Pity about those #*&$&@ casinos ruining the old board.

<sigh> Home sweet home Smile

Doug..
I'm here...I have no idea what I am doing and could never master photo bucket..but as an AFV member in good standing,I applaud your inititive(And all involved)
I always liked the old format..it was simple and straight forward..This forum seems too compliacted (For me anyway)I'm just an old model "T" kind of guy..simple..I like cars that go..cameras that take pictures(not play songs, sing and dance and do e-mail and can tell you exactly to the square foot where you are on the planet) and forums that are simple, easy read and straight forward...
How do we personellize our postings and headers.??
I haven't figured that one out yet..Well enough of my whineing...Carry on..Well done...
No KP for you..Take the weekend off..

I hear you, Alex. Unfortunately, those very properties of the "Model T" are exactly what permitted it to be "hot wired" and hijacked so easily.

To personalize your "presentation" you have a lot of cool options under"Member Options" at sidebar on left. When logged in, you can access your account from the menu that appears there. You can have custom avatars (that pig thing I use, for example) signatures, lotsa' stuff. Take your time, it doesn't have to be complicated unless you choose to make it that way...you're posting for now, and that's a start! Wink
