For all you Axe grinders out there or wanna be's like me I thought I'd post some links to some of my favorite Tab sites..a few of them have annoying popups but other than that you shouldn't have to worry about any spyware being installed without your knowledge (Unless I picked up something without my knowledge which would be very hard to do since I keep such a close eye on my rig)..anyway, hope somebody gets some use out of them, no particular order...

I bought my son an electric bass guitar for Christmas along with a Drive amp. I'm sure he'll be checking out those sites as well, thanks for the post.

Ah more pickers, pluckers and strummers
(surprising common interest's, ages etc on these boards )

Just Thought I would add one of my favourites

www.chordie.com

This site once you have created your log-in (safe) you can transpose songs to any key and then add to your songbook for printing, uses same TAB's as all the other sites... so some are dubious

As an aside closely examining MIDI files can help sort out some tricky sections..

Thanks guys. Been awhile since I searched for certain songs and even longer since I played the guitar on a regular basis but I have been getting back into it.

Man when you let them callouses go, 1 minute of playing is awfull painfull on the digits.

Moser I've been playing for over 15 years and I still consider myself a "novice" player...somedays you pick your guitar up and can't play crap...other days it just seems you're in the groove and can play miraculously(?)..just don't ever stop trying...after all this time it's still a trip to learn a song I've known my whole life..rock on dude...

Is online Jamming a realistic prospect in this broadband age?

Maybe a Music board here at Com-C ?
