The above-mentioned book by Hayward lists 4 Sherman Fireflies being located in South Africa.
If it is not too much trouble , could someone please PM / Email / post the information on the South African Fireflies as given in the Firefly book by Mark Hayward.
From what I have been informed , is that the book lists 4 Fireflies but I have found 5
The 5th mystery Sherman Firefly in South Africa is probably a M4 (Mid Production) Firefly.
I know that a PDF document was published , listing all WWII tanks in South Africa.
However , only observed 1 Firefly (and not 2 as stated in PDF Doc) at the School of Armour Museum , Bloemfontein and one Firefly I found was not even listed in the PDF document. Perhaps moved from another location to the location where I found the 5th Firefly ?
