The tank that is 'replicated' in the museum is one of the 3ID tanks which was 'drawn' in Kuwait.
The Theater Rotational Equipment was drawn by participating units during the days of Operation Intrinsic Action. The same as the old REFORGER was in Germany.
Tanks (& equipment) were stenciled with tracking numbers and the ARM BN is to signify that the equipment 'pack' was organized for a standard Armor Battalion.
Remember 3ID was in the midst of a 90 rotation when things got hot there. They fought the war with 'borrowed' tanks.

That vehicle has QTA 002 on the top line and A9049 ARM BN.
Did all the vehicles in that Armor Bn Set have the same markings or was something in that different for each vehicle?
