Here's some of how I spent mine.
The line up. getting them started to head out for the parade. The one with the flag is the one I had the privilege to drive!

I worked the 4TH
Funny thing is there are only about 2 cities in Los Angeles County where the safe and sane fireworks are legal, 1 being the Palmdale/Lancaster area up here in the high desert..........i guess they figure it's desert, whats gonna catch fire.
But on my drive into work last night along both sides of the freeway through all the areas where they are illegal it was the greatest fireworks show you ever saw for a 30 mile stretch
At least I got to see that much.
