#1: Good reference for Soviet artillery in WWII? Author: Neil_Baumgardner, Location: Arlington, VAPosted: Fri Aug 04, 2006 9:31 pm ---- Did Ian Hogg actually not write a volume on this subject? The APG ML-20 made me realize I did not have a good reference work on the subject. I ordered Michael Foedrowitz's Soviet Field Artillery in World War II. Being published by Schiffer, I assumed it would be a good reference work and didnt notice that it was only 48 pages. I must say I am pretty dissapointed... What else is there out there? Is there a Hogg work I havent come across?

I have also come across references to VN Shunkov's Weapons of the Red Army or Artilleriia, etc. However, I'm unclear as to whether these are in Russian only, or both Russian & English as so many books are these days.
