My wife actually saw this vehicle sitting in SBS's motorpool entrance. Very nice shape. The front left on the hull had 062956, CP11325 stamped in. You can see the two small "J" in the small squares on the right front hull. The side of the hull had 8392605, DJLB 03383, 92, 188 (I think).
The M74 at Ft Irwin had serial number 74159. Conversions of M4's to M74's took place between Feb 1954 and Oct 1955 at the Bowen-McLaughlin, York, PA plant. Original plans were for 650 conversions but due to money constraints the number is probably lower. There were sixty M74's converted from M32B3's and these were designated as M74B1's. Any experts out there know what this one is?
