- Roy_A_LingleHi Folks!
Now I have a question for all of you Shermanoholics.
That vehicle has the E9 system?
Is that based on the number and locations of nuts that are welded to the hull side?
Without a:
1. front view where I could see the track is set out,
2. no duck bills on the inside of the track block,
3. closer photo of the idler mounts where the modification to the mount can been seen,
I had/have no idea that vehicle has an E9 system on it.
Confuzed

My first indicator..... was the space between the final drive covers and the inner end connectors of the tracks. In the first two pics of the tank, you can see that there is space there. Normal VVSS suspensions have very minimal space.

I've taken one of Jeff's pics, lightened it up and cropped out most of the tank to show the modified idler wheel brackets:
- SHAWNroy, you arent a shermanoholic?
- SHAWNyou will be one soon jeff!!! denial is the first step to recovery.
remember the sherman has had a very long life. no other afv has been in service for as many years as the sherman.
