A real big airport with plenty of nav-aids waits for us in Melbourne! The funny thing is that, according to FS9 data, apart from 4 regular runways, there are also 13 grass or concrete strips 100 feet long spread all over the airfield - facilities for RC flyers? It would be a funny touch of humour to have a small kite to be driven into a sim by sim-pilots amongst sim-aircraft Laughing

Great to read from you again after all this time, Jel!

You're more than welcomed, and, yes, there's plenty of room for any kind of sheep, even rusty beer swillin' ones Mr. Green

I've just joined the forum today and am trying to link to the multiplayer server, but I don't know the password. Where do I get this information? Tonight's flight in Australia sounds like it will be fun, but I fear I am missing it!

Hy, Clinton, and welcome to Com-Central!

I replied to your private message, so just as a start you should have all that you need to join us, but feel free to post here any question: we're glad to help, and as our ATC often says, "the more the merrier"!

Yeah, Jerry, it has been fun.

Jel got back with us, and this was great; then we had several of new guests so that the flight was unusually and pleasantly crowded, and our ATC was rather busy. Mr. Green

The landscape wasn't as exciting as you can think, with the exception of the very first and last legs, which had some hills breaking the monotony. Here's a pic just to give you an idea:

Next flight should be far more interesting, so don't miss it Wink

S! Gents and once again I thank you for the invite for the sunday nite bash. It was great fun and with alittle more flight time in the Howard I,ll smooth things out. Had to fly most of the flight on Nav with a "hands on" approach since I hosed up the flight plan by clicking "find route when I loaded the flight plan...anyway cheers to you all and I,ll see you next Sun

PS special thanks to fled for the links and such to get me going....
