Thanks again Don - that helps. A few left:

M48A2C Patton RN 9B1376 is at the old Chaffee gate, but that still leaves RN 9B1344...

The M551 at Wilson Rd Gate has been described as "Former Armor Basic Course OPFOR" - so could it be the same as the one that was at Harris Hall?

That Unknown M577 looks like an error or typo - same SN/RN as an M114...

That leaves the following Unknowns/MIAs;

M4A1(76) Sherman
M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight SN 65997; formerly at Abrams Center
M48A2C Patton RN 9B1344
M60 RN 9B3695
M60A1 RISE RN 9B4668
M60A1 RISE RN JJ00ZW
M60A1 RISE RN JJ010G; formerly at AWTS
M60A3 SN 837(new bld M60A3), RN JJ03QA; formerly at Crecy Hall
M60A3 AAD rebuild SN 2304A, JJ04GP
M74 SN 73362
M551 Sheridan RN 13F158; Formerly at Harris Hall

Plus the Abrams that went to ???

A small correction: the M32 ARV that's listed as being at AMVETS post 2256 in Circleville, Ohio is actually located at an American Legion post at 23363 US Hwy 23 S; it's displayed with a flagpole mounted in the middle of it.

Coordinates are, aproximately:
39°35'23.90"N
82°57'16.33"W

Now that school is out for the summer I may be able to go photograph the vehicle at some point. Hope this helps.

Thanks Joe! That clears up all the "MIA" Knox M60s Smile

Although I do wonder about the LST Building M60 SN - no stamp or data plate?

Biggest problem I have is access,

All I need is a few minutes to confirm SN's and RN's, although I'd like at least 2 hours to take some pictures Smile

Confirmed a bit at Motts Military Museum Today:

The M551 Sheridan is s/n 1193
i289.photobucket.com/a...G_7968.jpg
The Left rear bumper, although it was also painted on the side; dunno about "missing gun"

The M114 had a bunch of stuff in the indicated locations, not sure how to decipher them:
i289.photobucket.com/a...G_8053.jpg
Left Front 13C489, 089
i289.photobucket.com/a...G_8064.jpg
Left Rear, 1199

The M47 Turret Trainer is stored at the back with a truck and a boat I don't recognise:
i289.photobucket.com/a...G_8088.jpg

I didn't know where to look on the M42A1, M110A1, LVTH-6, or V-100 Commando, so if anyone knows where I can check next time I'm there. The Museum also has an M47 Patton that the Governator himself (yes, really) drove when he was in the Austrian Army, but it wasn't on display, so I assume it's kept in running condition. Hope this helps Smile

Thanks for the info!

Is the M551 missing its gun?

You can find the M110 SN right beside the front tow lugs. They are usually "BMY" and then a series of numbers...

BTW, AFAIK the Governator took back his tank last year...

The tube was still in place, but I'm not sure whether that's any way to tell:

I'll be sure to check those tow lugs next time Smile

Could be fake, the plug on the end certainly isnt right...

BTW, how about posting some of your Motts pics in a thread (on the regular section of the board)? I'm sure folks would love to see them - including me!

A correction for the Columbus Area-the M4A3(75) Sherman s/n 11605 that is listed at VFW Post 3826 has the wrong address-it was at 3910 Cleveland Avenue; I say was because I went to visit it today and found out that it was removed about 3-4 months ago. The person I spoke to wasn't sure to where, and I will be looking into it. The former coordinates were:

40° 2'53.35"N
82°57'16.92"W

Here's hoping it hasn't been scrapped Confused

New location:
M4A3(75) Sherman s/n 11605
Amvets Post #68, 3535 Westerville Rd

Aproximate Coordinates:
40° 2'28.99"N
82°57'1.27"W

I will try to get out there tomorrow to take photos and visually confirm the serial number. I'm definitely glad it didn't get scrapped! Smile
