Neil -

While in OK, we looked for the M60A1/A3 listed as located at:

BROKEN ARROW
Oklahoma Army National Guard Armory/Naval & Marine Corps Reserve Center, 1101 N 6th St

The facility looks as if it has been closed and turned over to the town of Broken Arrow, OK. The tank is no longer at this location - see photo below.

As a point of interest, this photo shows the satellite image from Google Maps that appeared on my computer. Clearly no tank.

BUT - the two photos below are from my cell phone app accessing Google Maps satellite images and they show the tank!
Apparently, the regular version and the mobile version of Google draw their satellite images from different sources - in this case the mobile images are older and out of date.
Good to know if one is relying on these sources to verify AFV locations!!

Anyway, while traveling to Muskogee to see the USS Batfish Memorial, we drove by what looks like a brand new Army Reserve facility in Broken Arrow, OK that had an M60 out front. I shot this very bad photo while we drove by.

It looks as though the M60 missing from the closed facility has been relocated to the new facility, but we couldn't access the new facility to verify.

Lastly, here is an image from Google maps showing the new facility in Broken Arrow.

Neil -

We stopped by the American Legion Post 185 in Feeding Hills, MA and can confirm the SN of the M60A3 there as SN4067A.

Will post photos when I can.

Cheers,
VB

Stopped by the Camp Atterbury Veterans Memorial, and despite my fears was not dogpiled by bored MP's for photographing the old stuff!

Got serials for 2 M47 Pattons, one looks like 106, the other 2396. I'll post the photos later tomorrow. Couldn't get anything off the M42 Duster, M110A2, or the M41 Walker Bulldog-too much paint, and I wasn't quite sure where to look on the M4A1E8's.

Also confirmed the M4A3 in Brookville, IN; I couldn't get a legible serial, but it is at the location TACOM specifies, and according to the post commander it's been there since the 1950's.

The latest satellite photos on Google Earth showing the tank there are circa 6/8/2011, so it must have been moved some time after that date.

What is the current link for the list?
I tried some of the ones in this thread and they all seem broken?

well, if it is true, I think that it is ridiculous. Why putting apart an original M50 Super Sherman to try to convert it into an M4A4 that will not look original anyway !!

That reminds me the rare Firefly that was converted back to 75mm Sherman, would have been better to exchange it for an original 75mm tank and to preserve it as a Firefly :

Another lucky find, this time Barboursville, West Virginia, at a Veterans Home. It's hard to tell at this size, but my best guess is either M41 Walker Bulldog or maybe M47 Patton? The former might fit given that WVa seems to have a lot of M41's. Date of satellite imagery is 4/13/2011, so it's almost certainly still there; I've got a trip planned this fall that will include this one, unless VB beats me to her Smile
