#1: found a 155 GPF in Nebraska... Author: binder001, Posted: Sat Sep 09, 2006 12:18 pm ---- Last eve I had a chance to look at a few more Nebraska town to see what might be lurking in city parks or courthouse lawns. In the little town of Milligan (pop 328) I found an old 155 GPF still on the pre-WW2 hard-tired carriage. Why is this of interest to an "AFV" forum? Well, 100 of these guns were combined with M3 tank chassis to create the 155 Gun MOtor Carriage M12.

Somewhere along the top of the barrel, should be a stamping of the guns nomenclature and manufacture, Possibly Waterveilet?
