"WWI-WWII; The Men and the Machines" - A narrative by esteemed model builder Howard J. Thompson...some of you will recall his outstanding, award-winning 1/8 RC M551 Sheridan "Arizona",

www.sampson-jeff.com/t.../index.htm

(link above)

...is now in AFV downloads section for your review and enjoyment.
It is self-decribed as: "A narrative, not meant to be a comprehensive history, of men and machines for the period from 1914 to 1945. Its purpose is to put forward a finite perspective of the men, machines and events that defined the paths traveled by the United States and Germany during this historic time. The writer has made every effort to include only factual data and has relegated his personal commentary to the back page."

It's available as a pdf file to members here:
www.com-central.net/in...loads&c=81

In case you aren't a member here at Com-Central (I like to think that would be because your IP gurus won't let ya'...) we have a link you can view the document at from any ol' place. It would be here:

216.176.86.154/downloa...achine.pdf

Thanks to Howard and Com-Central for the effort in making this resource available to us all.

D.
