Anyone know what the box with the round hole covered with wire mesh, to the driver's right, is? Could that be something new or possible part of the A3 upgrade?

It's an NBC detection system. There is a canary in there. Old, time-tested system. General Dynamics makes them for $1 million apiece. Wink
