I just received a copy from AJ2

it is FANTASTIC

By being in a spreadsheet I can sort it by any of the fields, The descriptions (tank, full tracked, combat, 90mm) are all a single field, locations are a field (no matter how many words are in the name) and it doesn't matter whether the town has one word or two. All the things I was fighting from the version earlier in the thread. Oh and all the serial numbers are complete!!!

Thank you for taking the effort to make this available for us

Maybe they might give me one for my front yard, it's not like they can't spare one Wink

Joe D

Well maybe if we incorpoarte the CIA (After all we have a logo now) as a nonprofit 'For the continued study and preservation of our Armor History' we can designate your front yard as an official preservation site and put in a request for an M60, M60A1, M60A2, and M60A3 for it. They have so many who knows it may get approved What will your neighbors think Mr. Green

Let's see,

700 plus M60's out there, at least 55-60 photos of each, I think I need to expand my storage capability Mr. Green . So many Tanks, so little time..........

In about 30 years a lot will probably be gone, just like the Sherman. Way too many of them for anyone to care right now, worse is they lack any real combat history with the US. Once a tank is no longer wanted for display the Army will take them back and after a while they will end up a target on a range or the new solution, dumped in the sea for an artificial reef. Maybe they might give me one for my front yard, it's not like they can't spare one Wink

M113s are on the first page - not nearly as many. Yes, this just confirms that M60s (and probably M60A3s even) are easily the most numerous tank on display in the country...

Neil

Yea, I had just lost track of them

23 M113s
92 M114s
710 M60s!!!
