- Andre_FlenerAccording to the person, who took these photos (See: German forum ), the sign in front of this Panther states that it will be displayed like that: "Also die Tafel, die den Panther beschrieb, sprach davon, dass er so bleiben soll."
It also seems as the 'restores' built a special frame, which holds the different parts of this jigsaw puzzle in the correct positions.
So there's no need to make a petition.

- fitzdayI've got to agree with the rest of you. Leave it as is. Looks very awe inspiring as it stands. By the way, does anyone know if this damage was caused by a combat hit or was this panther destroyed by a demolition charge set by the crew.
- Rikard_HufschmiedSeriously, I find this is the most appealing Panther display to date for a wide number of reasons. First and foremost it sets the imagination in motion, a still if you like of that day in February 1944 when it was put out of action. I will have to go see this one on site, pictures are NOT enough.

Maybe we could meet each other there because I also need to go back to this museum, to see that Panther and for some other reasons (one never go too many times to the Sinsheim Museum).
Let me know if you have a chance to arrange a trip, I can virtually go there at any time... (and find another good reason not to study on week-ends..)
