Hi Mark! Hi Folks!

It's been not tank. Tunguska Smile

????????????? Smile

Tunguska! Or 2S6M Tunguska, SP AAA tracked vehicle.

Think West German Gepard on steroids.

Crew of six, 4 x 30 mm auto cannons, plus 8 x SA-19 SAMs.
Replacement for the ZSU-23-4 SP AAA. First seen in the west in 1986. Counter system for AH64 and A10s.

Follow up note: Pictures make it look like there are only two auto cannons. However Jane's lists four and the spec's sheet over at Global Security list a rate of fire for four cannons. I guess there are two 30mm's in each of those tube assembles.

Spot Report!
Sgt, Scouts Out!
