Neil-M48 at Fort Irwin
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

This appears to be an M60A3 but it has a searchlight mount. Joe????

This M60A3 was on the corner of big lot by the Landmark Inn (opposite side from the restaurant and fast-food places) in '03 but had moved elsewhere by '06. It's all slicked up with what looks like a diesel "wax-job" here.

I've never seen an M60A3 with those ball mounts. The brackets maybe but not the balls.

Then maybe you should be more articulate in what you are trying to say. All M60A3s have the the searchlight mount. Not all M60A3s have the ball portion of the mount, but they all have the mounting points.
