Texas Military Forces Museum, Austin, TX
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Some vehicles I am looking for for the USA AFV Register. Pics needed & additional info welcome:

BMP-1 SOV out
M113 USA out
M114 USA out (second one in addition to www.primeportal.net/ap..._walk.htm)

Neil,

I've posted photos of the stuff your looking for under my Camp Mabry post.

I spoke with two different volunteers at the museum and neither of them had seen an BMP-1 in the collection.
The only Russian AFV they have is a MT-LB.

Most likely it was a misidentification of the MT-LB, which I wasnt aware of.
