M60A1 and M114 C&R
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: M60A1 and M114 C&R

Hi All, Took a trip into Maryland today. Photos are on: www.Flickr.com/photos/brick6757 . M60A1 MBT was located in Jarrettsville, MD at VFW Post 8672. There was also a 3" gun displayed there. Paint job on the M60A1 looks to be a sand color that was sprayed on heavily. Paint even covers road wheels and track pads.
M114 C&R was located at American Legion Post 200 in Hampstead, MD. Judging by dents and scratches on it, probably came from a range (recovery) and only # I could find on it was 571.
I may take another day trip later this week. Luckily, all the Hurricane did here was knock many branches down and some flooding in my area.
