His serious aviation habit means he is hardly the best person to lecture others on the environment. But John Travolta went ahead and did it anyway.

Well, when celebrities, and politicians, presume to lecture about "sacrifice", they are referring to us, don'tcha' know? Wink

Well, now that you mention it, between 1945 and 1975, there was a global cooling trend such that in 1975 when I was back in school out of the Army (yes, I'm that old) there were dire predictions by the "climatological experts" that we were on the verge of a new "ice age".

Yep, last winter in the U.K. we didn't get much rain.
The hippies were all out blaming the ozone.

This year we got loads, so much so that we replenished all the water stocks we shoulda had last year.
