Our past experience with the AeroCommanders was exciting indeed; the only thing I noticed is that it's hard to keep a reasonable speed at higher altitudes: luckily, the cruise altitude this time will be lower, to our advantage. Moreover, it's since several weeks that we miss the opportunity to land at an airfield provided with an ILS, so it's a pleasure to inform you that this time we'll have one waiting for us at destination... for those who have an idea of how to use it! Laughing

Did you know......

That WIIB - Husein Sastranegara (Indonesia) airport is not in FSX under that ICAO code?

It's actually WICC, in Bandung, Indonesia. I swear! Who knows why!

Found out while setting up FSX for this flight. Good to know for anyone considering doing the same I guess.

Great Pics Fled! Definately a bit better quality than mine. Had a great flight with Bushy bringing up the back of the pack, I think when everyone touched down, we were still about 100nm out or so, but a great time none-the-less! I grabbed a few screenies along the way:

Passing%20over%20Jakarta%20(photorealistic%20scenary%20installed) On%20the%20Ground%20finally%20(AC500s%20a%20bit%20slower%20than%20those%20new%20fangled%20680s!) And%20of%20course,%20the%20\"Special%20Cargo\",%20A%20soldier's%20delight,%20Jim%20Bean%20and%20Ammo!


Really enjoyed flying the Smuggler's Delight variant, even came with custom oil splotches all over the windshield, made for a great time! Think we had a good head wind on that first leg, kept it slow goings. My arms about fell off from all the flapping trying to keep my forward momentum.
