Thun. Panzermuseum
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Strictly speaking this isn't part of the Museum. It's a gate guardian in front of a building, very close to the display area

I just took a quick look and all I can say is... WOW!
I will later go over the Pirat and Tartaruga photos. Thanks for those, by the way.

If you are in that sort of things you may want to take a look at this vehicle in Wien too:

As for Mowag, nothing beat Full Militarmuseum:

The shots on Flickr were just "portraits", but I have plenty of details and walk-around pictures too. If you are looking for something specific, just let me know. It may take a some time because most files are still in RAW format, not JPEG, but I am always glad to help a fellow modeller/afv enthusiast

I was reading Chris old blog entries and spotted this:

Turret's markings correspond to this:

The portrait shots will do just fine for now. What piqued my curiosity was the plated over TC position and the new roof plate behind it on the Vienna museum vehicle. I believe it was a 4K3FA based carrier for the Oerlikon 3 Z 8 Dla 804/805 RA twin 80mm rocket launcher:

Interesting! Did any tracked Saurer vehicle ever entered service with Austrian Army?

Incidentally you can see the same turret on a Mowag's prototype in Full:
