Victory Museum's under the hammer?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

As always in the veteran vehicles sector the price reflects the condition and originality of an item ...and the purpose the vehicle is bought for. From the point ov view of a museum these vehicles aren`t that bad as they can put them on display immediately ...

Does anyone know who brought the Loyd and Windsor carriers?

The SdKfz 8 has no engine ! Another person who was interested in the 12 tonner asked me some weeks ago ,were to get an engine for this , if he would buy it

The new buyer knew this, but he thought that it was worth spending 160 000 dollars for a good chassis and engine of SdKfz 8, even if the hull is a replica.

Yeah, no engine in 12-tonner.

And the Mercedes engine required for this is very rare, think of Unicorns being in the same place these engines are!

The buyer has more than enough money and contacts to locate a suitable engine I should imagine Wink
