What is that ?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Dear Sirs,
photo colleagues Bialy-r I'm using Fotoshop made very clear. Because of this I found that it is not a weapon taken from LVTH-6.

I very much regret that I can not identify anything else.

Are those Marmon-Herrington Armoured Car Mk III ? in Gweru Military Museum (Zimbabwe)

www.sa-transport.co.za...olice.html

Description:

"The two vehicle shown under Zimbabwe look very much like Marmon-Herrington armoured cars, but modified with Barbette added to the top, for riot use. As these vehicles are based on Ford truck chassis / running gear would have been “Ford” with Marmon – Herrington 4 wheel drive /running gear from the late 30,s and 40’s, these particular vehicles would not have seen service in Zimbabwe, but only in the period of ‘Rhodesia’, when the Police force was known as the ‘British South Africa Police’. The Zim Police are known as the Zimbabwe Republic Police or ZRP. The BSAP most likely inherited the vehicle from the Army, once the army had upgraded. (There are original Marmon Herrington’s at the Military History Museum in Johannesburg for comparison purposes). Thank you to Chris Baragwanath for this information"

My questions:
are those a WWII vehicles modified for Police service ?
or post war vehicles build for special Police service ?

They look very similiar too Marmon-Herrington Armoured Car Mk III

"Magnetic Discharging Vehicle No L.A-4320"

The vehicle was modified from a Soviet-Built ATL Light Artillery-Towing Vehicle. It was used by Unit 93 of the Engineer High Command to destroy the US magnetic bombs and mines at the Tung Estuary, Viet Estuary and Eastern section of Truong Son Mountain Range (on the Ho Chi Minh Trail), Quang Binh and Quang Tri Provinces from1968 to 1972

That for sure isn't a vehicle based on Russian AT-L
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT-L

But I thanks for photo showing it from the front.

I think that is a Chinese Type 60 tracked tractor
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...ed_tractor

www.pakdef.info/museum...GP2220.jpg
but with armoured cabin. I wonder if its' a Vietnamese or Chinese modification ?

Not new - rather old in fact as they are Type 60/63 hulls (Chinese copy of PT-76) mainly used for development work these days. Those vehicles are all one-offs I suspect.

Dear Colleague,
about this car I found info on www.network54.com/Foru...+questions

I quote: "The tractors are the Landsverk Model 131 (60 bhp), and the number of Which were sold to Thailand in the 1930s (Vanderveen's Directory, p 308)."

More likely ZiL-157 + sheet metal + BRDM-2 + BTR-70MBP, the latter for the turret.
