Check THIS out......while my son and I were out doing yardwork, he spots this and asks me how the heck it happened.

See this? It's the very upper, inside-top of the corner post for our front porch overhang......in other words, the inside-side facing the front of the house, on the lee side from any weather, etc....what are these stains?



If you guessed "Goose Poop", I'd certainly agree with you - them dang suckers abound in this area and every weekend is like a scatalogical version of the London Blitz. I mean when you hear the honking of an approaching flock your first reaction is to look for cover FAST. It's really bad during Little League season when the poor kids are stuck in the outfield with nowhere to run and they have to stay in position. A baseball glove over the head still leaves the critical neck area exposed, as one poor little center fielder found out last season...the screams were horrible.

So what I don't get is how the heck these dirty little bombers got such an angle on the target...here's the bigger picture, how the HECK did this goose manage to land a shot on this particular surface??

Any aeronautical or meteorlogical theories on the subject?? FYI the wind here blows entirely the wrong way (basically TOWARD the camera in the picture below) to support this kind of weapons delivery. Although I wouldn't be surprised if some damn goose just had the audacity to wipe it's butt on my house, they sure don't respect anything else (even our local Harley riders, if the story I heard at work this week is true)....

I'm still in awe at the size of that house!

well....judging by the splatter area , impact velocity, debris trailings and the strike angle we can definitly tell it was a strategic mission by none other than canada's own rebel air force,,,
,they defect yearly and go on cross border strike missions and although the battle zones are random they usually tend to target the same areas yearly without mercy , usually carrying small but lethal cluster bombs.

they use land mines for ground assaults on parks and recreational areas but this case is purely a strategic bombing sortie...
most of the time they hit their targets dead on but this is a sure miss,,,they were most assuredly targeting Stoopy's front stoop meant to do mass damage to your welcome mat , thus unknowingly transporting the deadly mix to your hardwood floors, carpets and eventually into your bed, this particular tactic is very rare and most definitly it was a pair of drunken pranksters on AWOL , it is the only reason I can think of for the missed shot. So you can rest easy boss,,,this was not a personal attack but just a random fluke.....
