lets start the Japanese relics list, breakout those pictures
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I really like Japanese armor!

You must at least give them an 'E' for effort!

This is a good starting point, although they oddly missed Quantico's Ho-Ro (in storage since the old museum closed):

Taranov, do you have any other pictures from the Quantico storage? DO you have any pics of their M2A3 light tank?

Also, how recent are those pictures and if I may ask how did you arrange for the access? I've been trying to get to see the storage facility to no avail...

I started to read Trevor Larkum's PDF and to look for pictures, but for some tanks, it is near to impossible to find any pic : a Type 95 Ha-Go and some Type 97 Chi-Ha in the Shumshu Island, Kuril Islands, Russia...

Yeah, that's at the Army Museum

www.hawaiiweb.com/oahu...museum.htm

at Waikiki, Oahu.

I'll have to scan some photos of when we were there in 2001. Pics of the Arizona Memorial, lunch on the Missouri and other photos.

Here are several more Japanese tanks these come from Akira Takizawa in Japan. Is Shumshu Island, Kuril Islands, Russia a different place than Shimushu Island, or another spelling for the same place? Remember, Roy Lingle says "right click on the photos and select 'save as' and you will see the location ....AJ2
