B-29's at Aberdeen
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Does anyone have any pics of the B-29's Superforts that were at Aberdeen in the late 60's?? A guy over at the warbirds site has an interest in them...

"Sweet Eloise", 44-70113 was apparently at Aberdeen from '60-'73, now at NAS Atlanta.

Atlanta, I believe. Check the link, there are a couple of more pictures. Clothing on child suggests a recent pic.

Also see, "Big Red", stored at Aberdeen from '56-'74. Now at Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB.

The only fixed wing aircraft aircraft I have seen, in the public-accessible area, at APG is an F-4 Phantom on display.

Also "Jack's Hack"...now apparently in Conn. That's three, anyway. Check the whole registry for possible others.
