Slightly OT: Location Roll Call?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I tried to figuring out this one

The first result got me to the Kazachstan-Mogolian border Rolling Eyes

The second try put me at the USA-Canadian border in the middle Whitefish Bay Shocked

So advice: do not follow the GPS co-ordinates in the Netherlands AFV Register document
You may get stuck somewhere in Asia or end up in the North Sea Laughing Laughing

I'm scheduled to visit them at the AAF in Danville next month. That's a 40 minute drive, max, for me.

Doug,
You mind if we list what town you live/work in?

Yes, I was screwing around to see if anyone was paying attention. Bingo, that puts you into Whitefish Bay. Meant no irreverence or disrespect.
If you even know the least of Great Lakes history, a famous incident happened this location.

No problem Mr. Green
Was nice to try finding the correct location, even if the result seemed to be something strange Wink

I think you mean the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald in 1975 (thanks to wikipedia, because apart from some CW things I don't know a lot of "local" US history)
