SdKfz 251/9 main gun in Overloon
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

these photos were taken by Tim Royall, they show a SdKfz 251/9 main gun displayed at Overloon. Anyone knows where it comes from?

Yes it comes from Dresden
was found in the area by the polish border

Don't know wich intentions they have with the gun
Only thing they can do is put it on display like it is
I rather had seen it go to a collector who could put it on a SdKfz 251 again
As far as I have understood the museum owns it now
