Post subject: private pilot checkride!!

anyone out there, experiencing the problem of failing your steep left turn after take off. During private pilot check ride, I get to that part, have tried so many times, I have even rolled it past 60 degrees. Considered arobatic. After I roll out to my heading. It says bank to shallow, you failed.

Its killing me here lol, cause it is holding me up from getting the other certs on the game. I love to use this game to help me refresh my mind for flying. Loads of fun. Any help would be great.

That's really weird... Private pilot steep turns only go to 45 degrees, and Commercial, 50. At least in the real world. Sorry I can't help ya, though.

Thats what I was thinking. See, in the lesson. They classify the steep turn as 45 degrees. And you begin your roll out to level at 30 degrees from heading. I did that, and failed. Bank to shallow. So I kicked it over to 50 next time. So on and so on all the way to 90 degrees. In a real 172, youd be screaming and falling at 90 degrees lol. Yet it still fails me, and says that I banked to shallow. Ah, it kills me lol.

Hmm.... Thats REALLY weird, I did the Private checkride (and all the others too), and passed first try, and did the 45 degree turn... I don't know if it is a bug or anything, but if you want to cheat and get the private certificate, do the "student solo" lesson, the last one of the student pilot group, and when you land, you recieve the "Private Pilot" certificate! lol

I will be acussed of Grave-Digger for sure, but what the heck...

I can't get the checkride right... I dont know if its a bug or what... On initial climb... at around 1500 ft, it will say to accelerate to 100knts, Im still climbing!!!

Then, IF... If I get to the first turn, I'll do a 20degree turn to the left to heading 090, and it will say its too shallow... I did get it right ONCE, I was turning 45.

Weird... I'll just leave it alone and continue...

Or, you could just open up the Uires folder, and pick whichever gsimgcertif_ bitmap you like and stick your name on it! Mr. Green

Just how far would you like to go Bushy? Mr. Green In all honesty, I've never tried to pass any of the checkrides in FS9, but I did manage to pass the PP checkride in 2002, so I consider the PP cert in FS9 mine too. When I first picked up the Sim, I saw in the documentation that as you paseed checkrides, you'd be given "secret codes" to allow discounts on FS merchandise online. Note the code on the bottom left of all of the bitmaps - you'd think that MS would have built those codes into a dll somewhere to actually keep them secret until you passed the checkride for real!
