Hopefully that circle isn't an ICBM launch site!

Stoopy, it's a French Naval Comm. station - well guarded ( I was sent away last year when "sightseeing "..)- just south of the village of Kerlouan. use www.kerlouan.fr click localisation/cartes and you'll see crisp and sharp the comm station....as well as the holiday house we're using...

I believe there is a French SSBN base nearby and this looks like a long-range, longwavelength antenna such as could once be seen at Chollas Reservoir in San Diego. Possibly used to communicate via long-wave with submarine fleet.

There is a sub-base on the Ile Longue in the Rade de Brest. Not for visitors due to the Atomic Characters of the vessels.. a good pair of binoculars is a wonderful help in observing.

So let me get this straight: Hans goes to "visit" this facility, and is turned away by the guards.... Later he employs the use of a good pair of binoculars.... That apparently not being enough, he returns some time later in an F100 Super Sabre armed to the teeth! Clearly this is going somewhere.... |
