Asetek (DK), Kingston Technology Europe Ltd., and Western Digital (US) have joined forces to build and demonstrate one of the fastest commercially available PCs in the world at CeBIT 2006. The Dream Machine, equipped with top picked hardware running CPU speed at amazing 5.46 GHz, is on display at asetek's booth (Hall 22, Stand C20).

Broenderslev, Denmark, March 6th 2006 - asetekr A/S, know for its high-end and extreme VapoChillr and WaterChillT cooling products, has partnered with Kingstonr Technology, the world's largest independent manufacturer of memory products, and Western Digitalr, the data storage pioneer and longtime leader in the hard drive industry, to show the lightning fast Dream Machine, running at an amazing 5.46 GHz CPU speed.

The jointly configured system based on, VapoChillr LightSpeed CPU cooling, WaterChillT graphics and motherboard chipset cooling, Kingston Technology HyperX KHX7200D2K2 DDR2 RAM, WD Raptorr X hard drives and Intel P4 3.8GHz CPU, forms the basis of the ultimate Dream Machine for PC enthusiasts and gamers.

"To reach a CPU speed at 5.46 GHz it is crucial to have very efficient cooling on all essential hardware. That is why we have chosen phase-change cooling reaching CPU surroundings close to -33 Celsius degrees under load. Could be! Seems as if the puter world has been hovering around the 3gig speed for a while. Seems as if a breakthrough to faster speeds are coming...eventually...lol
