Confused

Hi all,

I have made the mistake by not paying attention and IE7 got installed on my system.

result my installed OS is hosed and at this moment re-installing EVERYTHING

So be aware of IE7

Sorry to hear of your troubles, Fled. But as they say, "your mileage may vary"....I just did a mega-update, including IE7 and all is working OK thus far.
If anything changes, I'll let y'all know!

No problems as of yet. Took a little getting used to and initial connection is a bit slower while it loads, but so far happy with it.

Takes a load more resources but otherwise works fine.
Seen some forums criticising the size of the new IE in favour of Firefox 2, but my Firefox file was bigger and I rarely used it.
Has a nice (free, Bushster's favourite price) online system performance checker/improver included as well.

I am not an IE fan, but I have to ask the question.....does it have spell check?

When Firefox works as great as it does, why would anybody want IE ?

Well I suppose there are still a few that like active X and the code it can run.

For me, IE ts going to have to offer a lot more than Firefox. Maybe just a little prejudice lol.
